Abstract: With an average prevalence in the general population at 4-15% and more than 20% in the elderly, subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) is the most common thyroid dysfunction. The clinical and biological impact of SCH is sometimes atypical, unusual, and very challenging in current medical practice. Among these atypical manifestations of SCH, some publications have suspected a particularly promoting role in the genesis of biliary lithiasis.

Abstract: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are the most common mesenchymal tumors of the gastrointestinal tract. Although GISTs can appear at any gastrointestinal tract location, they are usually found in stomach (60%-70%), followed by small bowel (20%-30%). Less frequently, they can appear in colon, rectum, appendix, esophagus, mesentery, omentum, or retroperitoneum

Abstract: Acute mesenteric ischemia (AMI) is an infrequent cause of acute hospital admission with a reported mortality rate of 50- 90% that requires early diagnosis and treatment. If untreated, AMI can cause mesenteric infarction, intestinal necrosis and death. Early intervention can reverse this process leading to a full recovery, but the diagnosis is often difficult to establish.

Abstract: Three dimensional (3D) reconstruction can realize the accurate preoperative diagnosis of liver and intrahepatic tumors, and can also help to complete the preoperative operation planning. 3D visual surgical navigation technology has been applied in liver surgery. Virtual reality (VR) technology is still in the primary stage of research and development. It can only simulate the operation of 3D reconstruction model of liver

Abstract: Congenital diaphragmatic hernia of Morgagni-Larrey is an uncommon entity that usually presents on the right side. It accounts for only 3% of all diaphragmatic hernias. These hernias, occurring in the anterior midline through the sternocostal hiatus of the diaphragm, are usually discovered incidentally when the patient has reached adulthood, or when they become symptomatic due to intestinal involvement (occlusive symptoms) or when respiratory dysfunction occurs
